Hi Hubert,
Tested the brush a lot and I became very enthusiastic! I have included a link to your website. It's impossible to leave a review because I don't have facebook, but I'll just email it to you:
As a professional handyman I have thought a lot about how I should deal with used paint brushes. There are roughly two options for me: throw it away or rinse it out. Both options have pros and cons and in any case burden the environment. I've always gone for reuse, but that doesn't feel quite right either. You use large amounts of water to rinse the brush and flush chemicals. The combination of the Ecobrush with the Brushkeeper feels good! I tested with water based paint.
First, the brush itself. I was equally skeptical because of the synthetic bristles. My experience is that they do not distribute the paint so nicely over the surface. But the Ecobrush paints really nice and professional. Every time I go on with another project, it's like working with a new brush that has been 'painted in' anyway. The end result is tight!
Secondly, the Brushkeeper is a genius idea. When I realized the rotation movement, I could store the brush in the Brushkeeper between the layers of paint. No mess, no aluminum foil. Saves time and material. What really surprised me is that the brush gets really clean from soaking in the small amount of water. That saves a lot of water. And you could even collect this waste separately, it is only that little. You take the brush out, wipe it dry on a cloth and you can continue! I keep a brush for light colors and for dark colors. You have no remnants of the previous color. A big advantage is that you can store the brush with the bristles down. I was also skeptical that at the beginning of your project you lose a lot of water that still comes out of the brush from soaking, but that is not the case.
The price of this combination is very competitive. And you contribute to a better environment without compromising the quality of your work. You save time, money, material, water and mess. A wonderful invention that really keeps every promise! Both for the professional painter and the DIYer.
Hopefully you can do something with this!
Sincerely, Hieke
